Mỗi lần đọc kinh Mân Côi, đến mầu nhiệm thứ ba mùa Vui: “Đức Bà sinh Đức Chúa Giêsu nơi hang đá. Ta hãy xin cho được lòng khó khăn”, tôi thường đọc khác đi.

“Đức Bà sinh Đức Chúa Giêsu nơi hang đá. Ta hãy xin cho được lòng khó nghèo”. “Khó khăn” khác với “Khó nghèo”.

“Khó khăn” có nghĩa là ta khó chịu với người chung quanh, không dễ dãi với những yêu cầu tầm thường đơn giản, liên hệ với người khác. Trong liên hệ đời sống hàng ngày với người chung quanh, ta không chấp nhận người khác, đòi hỏi người khác phải như thế này, thế kia. Ta luôn luôn nói "không" với mọi việc. Cha mẹ nhờ rửa chén, ta không làm, nhăn nhó. Anh chị em mượn vật dụng, ta không cho mượn vì ta không thích.

“Khó nghèo” là mình sống đơn sơ, không đòi hỏi, biết chấp nhận những gì mang đang có. Chấp nhận những “khó khăn” đến với chúng ta trong cuộc sống.

“Phúc cho ai có tâm hồn nghèo khó, vì Nước Trời là của họ” (Mt 5:3)

Adobe Flash is a nice product and essential tool to surf the web. However, it have big security issues recently. Many security experts recommend not install it. I cannot get rid of Adobe Flash since sometime I need it. So, I make a change to browser to enable them on demand.

Firefox: Type "about:addons" on address bar or Ctrl-Shift-A to manage Add-ons and set "Shockwave Flash to "Ask to Activate"

Google Chrome: Type "chrome://plugins/" on address bar

Safari: Go to References -> Security -> Click on "Plug-in Settings..." next to "Internet Plug-in" check box.

Internet Explorer: Internet Options -> Program -> "Manage Add-on" button

Tại sao vậy?

Vì khi Thiên Chúa ở cùng chúng ta, chúng ta có hạnh phúc, bình an, sức khoẻ. Từ bình an, hạnh phúc,và sức khoẻ, dẫn đến thành công, tiền bạc, địa vị, ... nói chung là tất cả.

Visual Basic 6 on Windows 8

In case you need to support and maintain Visual Basic 6 application on Windows 7, Windows 8, ...:

1. Open command windows as administrator 
2. Create a zero byte file called MSJAVA.DLL in C:\Windows. (Note: This trick does not work with Windows 10. Need to copy a real copy MSJAVA.DLL to C:\Windows\SysWOW64). Read more: http://www.fortypoundhead.com/showcontent.asp?artid=23993 
3. "robocopy \WindowsXP\System32 \Windows\System32 java* " (These files from Windows XP system)
4. "robocopy \WindowsXP\System32 \Windows\System32 msjava*"  
5. Run setup as administrator from the VB6 or Visual Studio 6 installation media 
6. On compatibility, select "Run program without help" 
7. Enter product key and hit next until option list. Choose CUSTOM. 
8. Do NOT select Data Access (Otherwise you cannot install Visual Studio 6 SP 6 later).
9. The install will go straight through and will request a restart of windows 
10. After a restart, start your Visual Basic and confirm all works well, advised to set the program to run in administrative mode so it can write to areas of the registry 
11. Close it down and install the Visual Studio 6 Service Pack 6 components by right click on SetupSP6.exe to run as administrator) 
12. Once installed, restart VB6 and check the help about box to confirm you see SP6 installed

Month of the Holy Rosary

October is the month of the Holy Rosary. I learn how to say a Rosary from my Grandmother when I lived with her. We used to say a Rosary in our family every night or before the Mass at the Church. When I was young, I thought it was a long time to say a Rosary. But it's actually took only 15 minutes. There was a time I did not say a Rosary. I thought saying a Rosary was out of fashion. Reading Bible is a good way.

Later, in my life, everytime I felt desperate, or worry, or sad, or helpless, or anxious I said a Rosary. The first benefit I received immediately is a peace. Both of reading Bible and saying Rosary helped me calm and gave me a hope.
