April 30

Today, I wear a black t-shirt in memory of the Fall of Saigon. The lights in my office are turned off. I will work in the dark. Dark April :(

Looking into the success of Vietnamese-Americans, I think that there might be another Asian Tiger economy today: Vietnam (Republic of Vietnam), if there is no April 30, 1975. Thirty-five years ago, Hongkong, Singapore, South Korea (Republic of Korea) and Taiwan (Republic of China) had the same economy as South Vietnam. Today, they are highly developed countries. Today, they are four Asian Tiger Economies. Thirty-five years late, Vietnam is behind the others.

So sad...
