What should you do when your accelator stuck?

First thing first: Don't panic.

1. Apply your brakes and hold it.
2. Shift transmission to N (neutral).
3. Pull off the road cautiously.
4. Turn off engine and shift to P

In my own opinion: Stop driving a Toyota recall car. Don't follow too close the car in front of you. Don't drive too fast.

Below is the Vietnamese article from Viet Herald: Làm sao để thoát chết khi kẹt chân ga
1. Đầu tiên, quan trọng nhất: Lập tức đẩy cần số qua "Neutral," là nấc có chữ N, thường là màu xanh lá cây.
2. Đạp và giữ thắng, chứ "đừng nhấp/nhồi thắng," trong khi đó tiếp tục lái xe vào lề hoặc thoát khỏi xa lộ, vào nơi an toàn.
3. Tắt máy trong khi cần số vẫn đang để ở vị trí Neutral, là nấc có chữ N màu xanh lá cây đã nêu trên.
4. Khi xe đã tắt máy, đẩy cần số qua vị trí Park, là nấc có chữ P, như vẫn hay dùng khi đậu xe.

New "Move Over" Traffic Law for Californian

According to California Department of Transportation:

Sacramento –Caltrans wants the public to know about a new law signed by the governor that requires motorists to move over or slow down when they see a Caltrans vehicle flashing warning lights.

The new law, Senate Bill 240 (State Senator Roderick Wright), adds Caltrans vehicles displaying flashing amber warning lights to the list of vehicles for which motorists must slow down and, if safe, move over to a lane not immediately adjacent to the stationary vehicle.
